Update 0.4.9 (Spell Test / balance)
Update and Dev notes
The game has had a couple of visual effects added to convey depth. Most noticeably the cards have a drop shadow effect which I think gives a great impression of scale and where the card is in space.
The size of the held card has been increased since last patch too, which compliments the new effects.
Spells have now been added, one spell is active in the preview. This spell is "Slime Time!" which aims to bring a little more value to the player's hand and offset negative effects such as the effect of "Cursed Piggy Bank" which discards a card or "Dark Slime Dragon" which destroys all slime creatures in hand. "Sime Time!" is supposed to synergize with other slime cards (most are yet to be added) such as "Dark Slime Dragon" which requires the player to hold 3 slime cards.
Overall this patch has brought a couple of quality of life features, bug fixes, and visual improvements. Though there have been a few instances of the game crashing. I can't seem to find the cause or replicate that though, so if anyone find out something about crashing, let me know, thanks!
